Do you adjust your running timetable to the changing seasons?

I tend to train in harmony with my race schedule. Next year, my big race - The Eugene Marathon - falls on May 3rd. So I will start training January 1, regardless of how I feel or the weather. But perhaps I should be choosing

What Not To Wear at a Race
* An underwire bra.
* Thongs – on your feet or…between your cheeks.
* The shirt from the race you’re running. (Past ones are tolerable.)
* New shoes.
* Patchouli perfume.(Though it can be used as an antidote for venomous snakebites.)
* Bunny ears.
* Shorts that move stealthily.
* Shorts that readily show sweat.
* Shorts that are too long or too short.

Post Race Review
Another Turkey trot under my belt. I’ve run this race for 8 years in a row! It has become a very popular race / tradition with over 1400 runners and walkers attending.
Unfortunately the start tends to be very slow as too many people are squeezed into a single street.
As I point of courtesy, I never stand in the very front – not even close. I know I can’t run a 5 min mile. So it took about 5
