Holiday Inspiration - day 3 (Daily Photos and December Daily)
Day 3 of my 24 days of Holiday Inspiration series Take a picture every day during this holiday season. I've been doing this all year and let me tell you that November was a real drag in this department. I was so out of inspiration of what to shoot each day. Now I have a whole new world of decorations, goodies, parties, and other fun things to photograph! Get out your camera and capture the little details of this time of year. Your photos will mean even more if you take a minute to document them in writing. You can do this on your own personal blog, in a notebook, on a calendar, or in any format that works for you. It's nice to see the picture of my pretty wreath but it means more if you understand why I took the photo in the first place. Ever since someone gave us a fresh wreath as a gift a few years ago, I love to buy fresh Christmas wreaths for our front door. The delicious smell of pine every time we open the door is totally worth every penny I spend! I go to Costco each year at the first of December so I can get a great deal on a big fresh wreath. This wreath cost $14.99. If you want to do something really inspiring with your pictures you may want to consider participating in Ali Edward's annual December Daily project. I've never tackled this before because I am not really a mini album fan. I like to keep all my layouts in chronological order in larger albums. But I got thinking about it and I certainly could make this project work in my own way. Maybe I will have an album for December Daily pages and add to...

Holiday inspiration - Day 2 (Flickr Mosaic)
Christmas inspiration, originally uploaded by katiescrapbooklady. Day 2 of my 24 days of Holiday Inspiration series Need some holiday inspiration? Browse through photos on flickr and create a mosaic at Big Huge Labs using some of the images you find. I didn't take any of these photos but they all inspire me in some way. I had a lot of fun creating this mosaic! Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, you can use this same idea to create a mosaic of Hanukkah images or even winter scenes.

24 Days of Holiday Inspiration
I started working on a huge blog post about all the ideas I had for celebrating this holiday season in "Scrapbook Lady" style and it got to be a bit overwhelming to say the least. So I decided to break it down into daily chunks of goodness and post something each day from now until Christmas. Now I realize that not all of my readers celebrate Christmas, but I do believe that these bits of inspiration can be adapted to suit anyone's culture and beliefs. Because I celebrate Christmas I will focus a lot on that particular holiday, but I also teach my children about many other December celebrations so I will try to include some of those as well. No matter what you celebrate, December is a fun month full of many things to do and plenty of opportunities for making memories! Here's my list of daily holiday inspiration. I will update the links throughout the month until December 25th and this blog post will serve as a table of contents for the ideas. December 1 - Decorate your computer desktop December 2 - Make a photo mosaic December 3 - Daily Photos and December Daily December 4 - December 5 - December 6 - December 7 - December 8 - December 9 - December 10 - December 11 - December 12 - December 13 - December 14 - December 15 - December 16 - December 17 - December 18 - December 19 - December 20 - December 21 - December 22 - December 23 - December 24 -
